Purpose Statement
Children are the legacy and heritage of our church. First Church of God Inc. goal is to equip the next generation to serve, know and grow in the love of Jesus Christ. In order that the heart of children may honor, respect, treasure God and live as a faithful disciple for the glory of God and in the body of Christ.
Ministry Goals
To empower children to be "Kingdom Kids for Christ" by nurturing their spiritual growth and development through proper teaching of God's words in a fun, interactive and positive atmosphere. To involve all willing participants of our Pastor, Parents, Congregation and Children Ministry Leaders in an earnest effort to proclaim the Praise Worthy Name Jesus Christ and the Gospel & Testimony of the Lord to children of all ages.
Ministry Opportunity
The Kingdom Kids Children Ministry currently serves children ages 5-17yrs. When a child attends a Kingdom Kids Session, he/she will take part in an exciting and interactive lesson. They will experience activities that include worship songs, games, crafts and biblical lessons that will take them on an exciting journey through the Bible! Each Bible lesson is designed to instill practical, biblical principles that children can use everyday. The Kingdom Kids Children Ministry is currently seeking teachers, teachers support, chaperones for trips, if you have special skills and talents such as arts and crafts etc it's a bonus not requirement and a love for serving children - Our Future! Whether you desire to serve once a month for (arts & crafts activities) or work on a regular basis, our children need you. All participants must pass a criminal background check, prior experience is not needed to serve in this ministry. As we will prepare you and provide guidance.
Getting Connected To Serve
Please reach out to any of the following First Lady Caroline, Sister Laverne Hall or Sister Amanda Williams for volunteering your services and time to serve for the Lord. If you don't feel called to volunteer but still want to contribute in other ways we are in need of supplies for Arts and Crafts, Snacks & Juice, Bible Games, Sponsor a child/children on our trips or you can simply give financial help. You can donate whatever your heart is eager to give as we appreciate all donations.
